Harriet Misayo Kimura
Harriet Misayo Kimura, 86, of Lihue, passed away on Sept. 19, 2017, in Lihue.
Born on Oct. 23, 1930, in Lihue, she was a retired clerk at Wilcox Elementary School.
She was preceded in death by father Tsunaichi Iwamoto, mother Haru Iwamoto, husband Richard Motoi Kimura, brothers Tetsuo, Haruo, Hiroshi and Satoru Iwamoto, and sisters Yoshiko Hadama, Fumiyo Horie and Alice Tadai.
She is survived by daughters Pamela (Herbert) Hirota and Michelle (Placido) Valenciano, brothers John (Asako) Iwamoto, Richard (Doris) Iwamoto and Henry (Sachi) Iwamoto, grandchildren Allison Hirota, Stephen Valenciano and Ryan Valenciano, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, Oct. 28, at Garden Island Mortuary from 10 a.m., where services will be celebrated at 11 a.m.

Masako Omoto Nakata
Masako Omoto Nakata, 93, of Hanapepe, passed away on Oct. 15, 2017, at Kauai Veterans Memorial Hospital.
Born on Feb. 29, 1924, in Kapaia, she was a housewife.
She was preceded in death by husband Tsunemi Nakata, and parents Shoichi and Tama Omoto.
She is survived by sons Keith Nakata of Hanapepe, Russell (Joy) Nakata of Eleele and Lance (Dolly) Nakata of Puhi, daughters Susanne (Marvin) Shimatsu of Boise, Idaho, and Darlene Sugimoto of Pearl City, grandchildren Neil Shimatsu, Nathan Shimatsu, Alex Blackwell, Ryan Nakata, Jason Nakata, Robyn Nakata, Lee Sugimoto, Brandon Sugimoto and Rae-Lyn Morikawa, great-grandchildren Grace Shimatsu, Hope Shimatsu, Cooper Shimatsu and Jakob Nakata, sisters Violet Inafuku of Pearl City and Amy Shirakawa of Seattle, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family on Sunday, Oct. 29, at the Garden Island Mortuary chapel in Lawai from 1:30 to 2:45 p.m., where services will be celebrated at 3 p.m.
The family suggests casual attire and that flowers be omitted.

Priscilla Lagadon Coloma Andres

Priscilla Lagadon Coloma Andres of Kalaheo passed away peacefully at Wilcox Medical Center on Sept. 20, 2017, at the age of 86.
Born on Jan. 8, 1931 in Honokaa, Hawaii, she was a former official supervisor for Koloa Sunshine Market.
She was preceded in death by husband Pelagio Andres, parents Florencio and Dionicia Coloma, brother Ciriacio, sister-in-law Nancy Coloma, sister Janet and brother-in-law Leoncio Casamina Sr.
She is survived by her daughter Diane (Tony) Melchor, son Jeffrey Andres and daughter Norma (Clyde) Hori, grandchildren Tyson (Samantha) Melchor, Kendrick (Rachel) Melchor, Diandra (Ryan) Melchor, Kristy (Kelly) Hadama and Titus (Denise) Hori, great-grandchildren Kelson and Kayden Hadama, hanai great-grandchild Payton Toki, sisters Connie (Samuel) Cadacio and Nena (James) Barrientos, brother Dominador (Vivian) Coloma, and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
A celebration of life is Friday, Oct. 27, at Holy Cross Church in Kalaheo, at 8:30 a.m. Mass will begin at 10 a.m. Burial will be at Kauai Memorial Gardens. The family graciously requests no flowers.

Julio Rodrigues
Julio Rodrigues, 93, of Koloa, passed away on Oct. 8, 2017, at his home in Koloa.
Born on May 15, 1924 in Kauai, he was a retired truck driver with Lihue Plantation Company.
He is survived by his wife Caridad Negrillo Rodrigues of Koloa, sons Michael (Blair) Rodrigues of Las Vegas and Mark (Lachelle) Rodrigues of Kauai, granddaughter Breeze, and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Friends may visit with the family on Friday, Nov. 10, at St. Raphael Church in Koloa from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m., where Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Raphael Church Cemetery in Koloa.

Lei Ann Takemoto
Lei Ann Takemoto of Lihue passed away in Wilcox Medical Center on Oct. 12, 2017, at the age of 67. She was born in Minneapolis on Oct. 7, 1950.
She was preceded in death by parents Wally and Tsugime Takemoto. She is survived by brother Jack Takemoto, sister Joyce Takemoto, niece Tinina (Kaili) Takemoto Olores, grandniece Mahina, grandnephew Waipuna, as well as numerous friends and family.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 1, at Kalaheo Missionary Church, starting at 10 a.m.

Margaret Machado Victorino
Margaret Machado Victorino, 94, of Lihue, passed away on Oct. 13, 2017, at Hale Kupuna Heritage Home.
She was born on Dec. 2, 1922, in Kapaa.
She was preceded in death by husband Louis Victorino, son Steven Victorino and grandson Steven Victorino Jr.
She is survived by sons Ronald (Marie) Victorino and Patrick (Sue) Victorino, daughter-in-law Julie Victorino, six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit with the family on Monday, Nov. 6, at Immaculate Conception Church, from 8:30 to 9:45 a.m., where Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m.
