Rights group chides Poland for ‘harassment’ of protesters

This file photo from Sept. 24 2017 shows women’s rights activist Klementyna Suchanow being removed from a protest by police in Warsaw, Poland. Suchanow is one case cited by Amnesty International in a new report alleging that Poland’s authorities have used surveillance, prosecutions and harassment, and even excessive force in rare cases, against peaceful anti-government protesters since 2016.
