Dentist group to buy back Halloween candy

KALAHEO — Kalaheo Dental Group is hosting a Halloween Candy Buy Back on Wednesday, Nov. 1 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at its office in the Rainbow Plaza on Kaumualii Highway in Kalaheo.

Kalaheo Dental Group will buy back “extra” Halloween candy from keiki for $1 per pound, up to five pounds, and donate the candy and toothbrushes to U.S. troops through “Operation Gratitude.”

“Your candy will bring joy to our troops and the toothbrushes will bring them great dental health,” said a press release.

Candy donors will be eligible for a prize drawing to win a $100 KUGA gift certificate.
