Dorothy Ferreira Cataluna
Dorothy Ferreira Cataluna of Koloa passed away peacefully on Sept. 26, 2017, at the age of 81.
Born on Kauai on Oct. 6, 1935, she was a retired school teacher.
She was preceded in death by parents John and Mary Ferreira, husband Donald Cataluna and sister Jacqueline George.
She is survived by daughters, Lee (Jim Kelly) Cataluna and Malia (Danny “Kawika”) Blake, grandchildren Kainoa Kelly, Makalapua and Kilakila Blake, sister Elizabeth Gatewood, brother John Ferreira and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, Nov. 4, at St. Raphael Church in Koloa. There will be no visitation. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. A reception will follow at the church immediately after Mass.
The family welcomes flowers and lei.
