Servco Toyota families treated to the fair

LIHUE — Chris You, manager for Servco Kauai, asked the throng of people to send back photos of themselves enjoying the Kauai County Farm Bureau Fair Sunday.

The people included Servco Kauai associates and their families, who stopped off at the Lihue auto dealership to pick up family packs for the fair.

“On Oahu, they had to close the fair for a day because there were so many people involved,” said Laurie Yoshida, whose husband Vernon Yoshida is employed at Servco Kauai. “We don’t have that many people on Kauai so we’re just distributing the family packs, which include admission, food tickets and a fun pass which covers rides.”

Claudia Lau coordinated the effort, which was valued at more than $9,000, distributing the remaining packs through a random number drawing among the associates.

“Get pictures,” You said. “We can post them on social media to express our appreciation to Servco, who made it possible for us to have fun at the fair.”
