A pet remembrance service is scheduled 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the Kauai Humane Society.
The service will offer a chance for healing and remembering for those grieving the lost of a pet.
“Pets are part of the family and to lose a pet is like losing a piece of yourself,” said a press release. “The unconditional love, companionship, and their unique personality enriches our life beyond words. So when they die, how do we reconcile their death and manage the grief that goes with it?”
There will be food, music and a memorial activity.
