Donald Edward Kubisch
Donald Edward Kubisch, 71, passed away June 29, 2017, at Wilcox Medical Center. Born Aug. 20, 1946, in Chicago, he was the retired owner of the House of Seafood.
He was preceded in death by parents Edward and Ella Kubisch and brother Edward Kubisch.
He is survived by wife Georgia M. Alcos Kubisch, sons Donald (Amy) Kubisch and Brad Kubisch, daughters Suzette (Don) Graycochea and Tiffany (Kana) Keale, stepson Allen “Ili” Young, grandsons Koali‘i, Hekili, La‘a Kea, Ke‘alohi, Moewa‘a, Ne‘oeu, Pekelo Graycochea, Leland Keale III and Zion Chandler-Kubisch, and granddaughters Daelynn and Karlee-Rose Keale.
Please join the family as they celebrate his life Saturday, Aug. 19, at 11 a.m. at Hanamaulu Beach Park. The family suggests casual attire.
John Gilbert Brun
John Gilbert Brun of Kalaheo passed away on Aug. 4, 2017, at the age of 50.
Born in Illinois on Dec. 9, 1966, he was a master carpenter.
He was preceded in death by father John Brun Jr. and mother Sharon Brun.
He is survived by wife Terriann Brun, daughters Shaena Lyn, Bobbi Jean, Tyme Ann and Thia Marie, sisters Joni and Rhonda and brother Darren Brun.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.

Diane Lynne McLane-Hanson, 64, of Anahola, passed away on Aug. 8, 2017, at Wilcox Medical Center.
She was born on Feb. 24, 1953 in California.
She is survived by husband John Hanson, daughter Kaiulani Lovell and seven grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, Aug. 19, at 3 p.m. at St. Catherine Church Cemetery in Kealia.

Kiley Kaipo Fernandez
Kiley Kaipo Fernandez, 46, of Puhi, passed away at his home on Aug. 13, 2017.
He was born on March 6, 1971, on Kauai.
He was preceded in death by father Andy Fernandez and sister Maynette Rivera.
He is survived by wife Candace Vasconcelles, daughters Kaylee Fernandez and Laakela Fernandez, sons Karl (Kyron) Kubo and Blaze Valente, mother Winnona (Robert) Romero, brother Dwayne (Kim) Fernandez, sisters Giesele (Charlie) Bohn and Stacy (Steve) Vinzant, and numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, Aug. 26, at the Borthwick Kauai Mortuary chapel in Koloa from 9 to 10:45 a.m., where services will be celebrated at 11 a.m.

Claude ‘Sonny’ Alfonso
Claude “Sonny” Alfonso of Kapaa passed away on Aug. 9, 2017, at the age of 58. He was a chef.
He is survived by wife Darlene Alfonso, three brothers, three sisters, four stepsons and eight grandchildren.
Private services will be held at a later date.
