The Rookies topped the Islanders, 20-11, in the E division’s championship game at Patsy T. Mink Central Oahu Regional Park in Waipio.
The Rookies and the Islanders, both of the Kauai Senior Citizens Softball Association, set up the all-Kauai final game with wins in the semifinals. The Rookies defeated the Makules, 20-8, and the Islanders beat the Maui Raiders, 12-8.
A team from Kauai reached each of the lower division championship games on Thursday.
The East Kauai Legends lost to the Waipio Makules, 16-14, in the F division final.
Kawaihau was victorious over the Golden Eagles, 27-7, in the G division championship. Hanamaulu lost to Na Kahuna, 17-10, in the H division final.
Play in the upper division began Thursday on Oahu. Thursday’s results of Kauai’s teams are:
