KOKEE — Three vehicles were destroyed in a fire Thursday morning in the parking lot of the Pu‘u O Kila Lookout in Kokee State Park.
No injuries were reported.
Firefighters were dispatched to the parking lot at the beginning of the Pihea Trail about 10:30 a.m. A parked van initially caught on fire and the blaze spread to two other parked vehicles, according to a county press release.
Firefighters had the fire under control about 11:30 a.m.
There were no occupants in the vehicles when the fire broke out. All vehicles are considered a total loss.
An investigation continues.
