Michael Peter Vitas of Lihue passes away on June 4, at the age of 64. He was born in Waterbury, Connecticut on April 26, 1953.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Mary Vitas; brother, Mark Vitas.
Michael is survived by brothers, Pete and Jeffrey of Seaside, OR and a niece.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, July 9, 2017, at 11:15 a.m., immediately following service, at the Lihue Missionary Church. Guests are invited to stay for lunch.
Kauai Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home assisted the Vitas family with arrangements.
