Governor visiting Whitefish

HONOLULU – Gov. David Ige is attending the Western Governors’ Association annual conference in Whitefish, Montana. The event began on Sunday and concludes Wednesday.

The governor is attending meetings and participating in discussions on a variety of topics, including cybersecurity for power grids, economic development, energy, maintaining infrastructure, and bilateral trade between the U.S. and Canada.

The governor is traveling with first lady Dawn Amano Ige, who is also attending meetings and discussions.

The total cost of this trip is $3,000.
