Lily Cummings dropped a game-high 16 points, but the Kauai Ballers, eighth grade girls division, dropped to Kaulupono 43-26 in the opening game of three contested in Kalaheo.
Kierstin Gummerus led Kaulupono with 15 points followed by Kaye Serapio adding 14 points in the win.
During the second match, a high school division game, Jaliyah Casen and Mele Tafea each scored nine points to lead the Kauai Ballers HS to a 31-18 showing over the Kauai Lynx, who finished with Jasmine Ballesteros and Bailey Perreira each netting eight points.
The final matchup saw Isaac Mirey score 12 points and Joshua Rego with nine points to lead the Kauai Thunder, fifth grade division boys, to a 38-14 showing over Westside, who got eight points from Josiah Delos Reyes.
