WAILUA — There’s an opportunity to make the step from armchair warrior to activist with GMO Free Kauai on June 14.
“Our hope is that new volunteers can engage in one subject they are passionate about, and produce meaningful results that will help us get closer to manifesting a GMO free Kauai,” said Blake Drolson, co-founder of GMO Free Kauai.
It’s the perfect time to ramp up volunteer activities with the organization or to get involved, Drolson said, because the committees will help cater to individual interests.
“Our intention is that people can come aboard and help volunteer to the degree they are able, even if it’s just a little bit,” Drolson said.
The June 14 meeting will start at 6 p.m. at the Wailua Houselots Park.
