Soo-jo returns his fury; Jung-il hides his emotion

The Jeju Food and Wine Festival ended its second year yesterday. Jeju Food and Wine Festival has been modeled and inspired by the Hawaii Food and Wine Festival. Jeju is an island on the southern tip of the Korean Peninsula with an abundant seafood resource. Local chefs Alan Wong and Roy Yamaguchi both attended the inaugural year in May 2016 but due to schedule conflict were not able to attend this year’s JFWF. Chef Vikram Garg from Hawaii has attended JFWF in 2016 and 2017.

South Korea has been making a big push into its cuisine industry as many South Korean chefs have been getting international attention. Michelin guide also released its first book in Seoul last year with two Korean restaurants receiving 3 Michelin stars.
