Bryan Brown and Bryden Kawakami shared high-point honors at six each as the Lihue Lakers came up short, 30-22, at the hands of the TL Warriors-Blue in the nightcap.

“We couldn’t take care of the ball in the second half,” said Lakers coach Lenny Rapozo. “We seem to do that a lot. We just can’t let the game get ahead of us. I told my guys not to take it that hard. We’ll face them again in the summer league.”

Hunter Corpuz and John Vincent-Sibuma led the Warriors-Blue victory with 11 and 10 points, respectively.

The Extreme Termite basketball league enters its final week with three games on tap Monday starting at 6 p.m. at the Kalaheo Neighborhood Center.
