Family rescued at Queen’s Bath
PRINCEVILLE — A family of three from Milwaukee was rescued Saturday afternoon at Queen’s Bath.
The parents and their 11-month-old baby were standing on the rocks about 1:30 p.m. when a rogue wave swept them into the pond.
A bystander, a U.S. Army soldier from Oahu, assisted the family with getting out of the pond and onto safer ground.
The victims were then examined by the responding firefighters from the Hanalei station, and released at the scene.
