Glorita (Andy) Doctor McIntyre

Glorita (Andy) Doctor McIntyre, 78, of Washington, passed away on March 18. Born in the Philippines, she immigrated to Kauai in 1946 at the age of 7 with her family.

She was a social worker for the Hawaii state Department of Social Services and Washington state Department of Employment Security.

She was preceded in death by her husband of over 30 years DeWitt McIntyre; long-time companion William Freeze; parents Bienvenido and Sofia H. Doctor and brother Julio Doctor.

She is survived by her children Cori Lei McIntyre Smith (Michael), Dona Rae McIntyre Cocking (Steven) and Eric McIntyre (Tamara), grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sisters Sofia H. Doctor, Clarita Kaapuni Doctor and Norma Doctor Sparks, and nieces, nephews and cousins.

A celebration of life will be held on April 22, at 1 p.m. at Evergreen Washelli, 11111 Aurora Ave. North, Seattle, Washington.
