Life’s Choices Kauai needs volunteers

LIHUE — Life’s Choices Kauai is seeking volunteers for its Sticker Shock prevention campaign, which aims to raise awareness about the consequences of underage drinking.

Participants will meet from 5 to 9 p.m. April 28 at businesses around the island that sell liquor, and set up sticker displays that call attention to the legal ramifications of providing alcohol to minors.

“We plan to post over 2,000 stickers that day and could use the help,” said Maile Murray, prevention specialist.

“It’s a great way for parents to start a discussion on this important topic with their keiki,” said Theresa Koki, Life’s Choices Kauai Coordinator.

Info: Koki, 241-4925 or Murray, 241-4926.
