Hawaii Future Farmers of America is holding its annual state convention today through Friday on Kauai.
The key to the convention is promoting Career Technical Education in local high schools and raising community awareness concerning new developments in CTE.
“The trend is changing and we’re going to be talking more about career and technical education with every student,” said Leila Kuboyama from the state Department of Education.
Wednesday workshops and showcase will begin at 3 p.m. with speeches and demonstrations in the Paddle Room at the Courtyard Marriott at Coconut Beach.
