LIHUE — The Hawaii Foodbank has promoted a new branch manager to take care of its Kauai location. Wes Perreira is responsible for day-to-day operations within the warehouse as well as community outreach. He has been warehouse supervisor since 2010.
LIHUE — The Hawaii Foodbank has promoted a new branch manager to take care of its Kauai location.
Wes Perreira is responsible for day-to-day operations within the warehouse as well as community outreach. He has been warehouse supervisor since 2010.
“We are so pleased to promote Wes to Kauai branch manager for the Hawaii Foodbank,” said President and CEO Gerald Shintaku. “Not only does he bring tremendous passion for his work, but also the ability to serve the people of Kauai in a multitude of different avenues.”
The position is new to the Kauai branch. It is part of the Foodbank’s initiatives for further efficiency and accountability, officials added.
Prior to joining the Hawaii Foodbank’s Kauai Branch, Perreira served in various management positions within in the public and private sectors.
He is involved with the Kauai United Way, Boy Scouts of America and Special Olympics.
