Kauai youth, ages 5 through 18, interested in golf are invited to the Hawaii Junior Golf Day on March 11 at the Princeville Makai Golf Course or the Puakea Golf Course.
The first 60 youngsters to register online for either site are eligible to receive a prize when they show up for the fun and free introductory golf experience led by golf professionals from the Aloha Section Professional Golf Association.
Parents can receive information on the “Roadmap to Junior Golf” which provides information on how to get a child enrolled in a junior golf program.
Registration is being accepted at www.hsjga.org, and will be taken from 8:30 a.m. at the Hawaii Junior Golf Day. The clinic runs from 9 to 11 a.m.
The Kauai golf courses are part of 12 golf courses offering this golf introductory event sponsored by the Aloha Section PGA and the Hawaii State Junior Golf Association.
