West Oahu instructor visiting KCC Tuesday
LIHUE — An instructor in early education will be available to speak with people interested in acquiring a bachelor’s degree in early education on Tuesday from 9 to 10 a.m. in Room 204 at the One Stop Center at Kauai Community College.
Jill Kouchi, the Kauai liaison for the University of Hawaii, West Oahu campus, said KCC currently offers an associate’s degree in early education. The visit by Susan Matoba Adler of the West Oahu Campus will offer information in advancing the associate’s to a bachelor’s degree.
“We’ve wanted teachers from West Oahu to visit Kauai for a long time,” Kouchi said. “There is an interest from the people. Susan Matoba Adler’s visit is the first time the West Oahu Campus is sending an instructor to speak with interested people on a drop-in basis.”
Matoba Adler is also qualified to answer questions about other social science curriculum being offered at West Oahu.
There is no charge for the visit.
