• Tulsi right about government’s role
I couldn’t agree more with Tulsi — we must abandon the US foreign policy of waging regime change wars to get rid of foreign leaders we don’t like.
What did we taxpayers get for the trillions of dollars spent on wars in Iraq, Libya, and now in Syria? Nothing good.
The only thing more mind-blowing than the arrogance of our leaders to feel entitled to overthrow foreign governments is that all of these regime change wars produced devastating results and opened the door for terrorist organizations to take over.
The beauty of Tulsi’s Stop Arming Terrorists bill is that it would prevent our government from continuing to directly and indirectly arm and fund terrorists to wage regime change wars without congressional approval.
There’s a new anti-war movement to stop being policemen of the world, stop nation-building overseas, and instead invest our tax dollars here at home. It’s led by our Tulsi.
