Lions collect used eyeglasses
The East Kauai Lions Club will host a “Lions in Sight” used eyeglass collection from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Kukui Grove Center.
Unused prescription and non-prescription eyeglasses are welcome as well as recycled hearing aids.
The collected eyeglasses will be cleaned and shipped to Third World countries for distribution as part of fulfilling the challenge of Helen Keller as well as celebrating the 100th anniversary of Lionism throughout the world.
