HONOLULU — A car rental company has donated $50,000 to Pacific Historic Parks for a commemoration ceremony that remembers the attack on Pearl Harbor.
“On behalf of the 75th Commemoration Committee, I want to express our sincere appreciation to the Enterprise Rent-A-Car Foundation for this very generous donation,” said Admiral Thomas B. Fargo, retired U.S. Navy and 75th Commemoration Committee chair.
Fargo said Wednesday that the donation will help give veterans the chance to experience the appreciation of the American people for their sacrifices.
The 75th commemoration events are taking place Dec. 1-11 on Oahu.
