The Kauai Buddhist Council invites people to its Bodhi Day service starting at 9:30 a.m. Sunday at the West Kauai Hongwanji, Waimea Temple.
The Rev. William Masuda will be the guest speaker.
“Rev. Masuda was in Hawaii for more than six years at the Buddhist Study Center, and being an English-speaking minister, everyone can listen to what he has to say,” said Alton Miyamoto of the West Kauai Hongwanji.
Bodhi Day, or the day of enlightenment, is celebrated by Buddhists throughout the world.
