Jon Craig Guyett
Jon Craig Guyett of Kilauea, Kauai, Hawaii passed away on Oct. 28, 2016, in Honolulu, Hawaii at the age of 61.
Born on Nov. 8, 1954, in Bethesda, Maryland. He was a math tutor.
He is survived by: wife, Madeline Molina Guyett of Kilauea; son, Eric Kaimana Guyett of Honolulu; father, John (JoAnne) Guyett of Sacramento, Calif.; mother, Jacqueline (Jerry) Angelo of Aptos, Calif.; brothers, Jim Guyett of Berkeley, Calif., Jeff (Sue) Guyett of Idaho; aunts, nephews and a niece.
The Celebration of Life and Paddle out will be held on Sunday, Dec. 4, 2016, at noon to sunset at Black Pot Beach Park, Hanalei, Kauai. Casual attire.

Marie Elizabeth Fifield, 92 of Kapaa passed away at home on Oct. 30, 2016 She was born July 27, 1924, in North Hollywood Calif. She worked as a teacher and volunteer.
She is preceded in death by: mother, Iva Stith; husband, E Gary Fifield; son, Brian Suard (Kapaa).
She is survived by: son, Chris Suard; grandson, Christopher Suard Jr. (Kapaa); daughter, Molly Suard; grandchildren; great grandsons and granddaughters.

Akiko Harioka Nagata
Akiko Harioka Nagata of Kalaheo passed away at home on Oct. 23, 2016, at the age of 88. She was born in Makaweli, Kauai on July 29, 1928, and was a dedicated homemaker.
Preceded in death by her parents and siblings.
Akiko is survived by: husband, Masaaki Nagata; daughters, Diane Nagata and Marcia Nagata all of Kalaheo; one sister, Miharu Mizoguchi of Maui; numerous nieces and nephews.
Private services were held.
Kauai Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home assisted the Nagata family with arrangements.
Emiliano ‘Joven’ Queypo Macadangdang
Emiliano “Joven” Queypo Macadangdang of Koloa passed away at Wilcox Memorial Hospital on Nov. 15, 2016, at the age of 79.
Retired grounds maintenance from Coco Palm, born in Bacarra Illocos Norte, Philippines on July 20, 1937.
He is preceded in death by: sisters, Eusebia Steljes, Mercedes Macadangdang and Maria Andres; brother, Emigdio Macadangdang.
Survived by: wife, Estrella Barut Macadangdang; children, Moises (Filomena) Macadangdang, Aida (Fortunato) Cadiente, Felix Macadangdang, Lina (Jessie) Rualizo, Pacita (Sol Abdul) Macadangdang, Eden (Dennis) Tadije, George (Analyn) Macadangdang and Marialynne (Garen) Miyahara; 15 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; brother, Flor Macadangdang and numerous, nieces, nephews and cousins.
The celebration of life will take place on Saturday, Dec. 10, 2016, at St. Raphael’s Church in Koloa from 8 to 9:45 a.m. Where Mass will be at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Kauai Memorial Gardens.
Edward Keahi Kaleiohi
Edward Keahi Kaleiohi of Anahola, Kauai passed away on Nov. 24, 2016, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital.
Born on Dec. 13, 1931, on the Island of Kauai he was a retired as a Fuel Distributor.
Preceded in death by: his parents Ephraim and Evangeline Kaleiohi; siblings, Ephraim, Samuel, Abraham and Phillip Kaleiohi, Winifred (Benjamin) Cummings and Evelyn Reis.
Survived by: his wife, Amanda Ann Kaleiohi; daughters, Stephanie (Robert) Reyes, Sheryl Kaleiohi, Marlena Kaleiohi, Lucyann (Douglas) Dulak; son, Edward H.K. (Zondra) Kaleiohi; 7 grandchildren; brothers, Theodore Kaleiohi, Joseph (Marlene) Kaleiohi; sisters, Evangeline Evans, Phyllis Goias and Daisy Tailfeathers; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, Dec. 17, 2016, at Borthwick Kauai Mortuary Chapel in Koloa from 9 to 10:15 a.m where services will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m.
Burial to follow at Kauai Veterans Cemetery at noon.
