Happy birthday to Carol Texeira of the Kauai Chamber of Commerce who celebrated her special day at the Regency at Puakea’s Business Before Hours with the sponsorship of the KQNG Radio Group (Ron Wiley even got to escape from his cage to close the morning at the Regency; Karen Silver said they had to send back some breakfast for Mark Valentin when Ron returned).
Maiyah Rapozo-McDowell missed the excursion for the play at the convention hall, but made up for it by doing a rendition of “Silent Night” with grandpa Kenny Rapozo who was playing his guitar given to him by Hal Kinnaman.
Sharon Lasker (who got the memo about wearing black?) said everyone is invited to the 2nd craft fair (so the residents don’t have to deal with the hassle of going out to find them) and rummage sale, Nov. 16 from 10 a.m. at the Regency.
Was nice to see Barbara Gusman of the Courtyard by Marriott at Coconut Beach, and kudos to Sharon and all the organizers of the Business Before Hours on the Fall Photo Booth (you should see Nancy Kanna in the Darth Vader mask!).
Happy Veterans Day to all! Check out Christine Camara and the Great Harvest Bread people for their red, white, blueberry bread that benefits the Disabled American Veterans.
