Marty Ellis said when you’re married to an artist, you get your face painted, and borrowing a friend’s gown, you become the Queen of Hearts. Jill Dobashi had just finished her appointment, but couldn’t leave without getting in some views of the keiki who brought their families to participate in the parade.
Faith Campbell was going crazy with the photographs, and congratulations to Lisa, Kalei and Quinn Ka‘auwai on getting first place in the keiki judging!
Over at the Nawiliwili Harbor, Liz Olsen was excited — not at seeing Trump and Clinton aboard Speedy — but because Speedy held off strong challenges by Fast Company and OZone (who ya gonna call?) to win the Halloween Costume race.
Kudos, too, to Dr. Addison Bulosan and The Specific Chiropractic Center on a great Ladies Night Out Thursday night. It’s good to have a place to check out when there’s no parking for (Food) Truck Thursday down the street.
OK, off to see Ronn Miyashiro and the UH men’s golf team in Princeville.
