Valerie Ann Lagazo
Valerie Ann Lagazo of Kekaha passed away on Oct. 7, 2016, at the age of 50. Born on Aug. 26, 1966, in Waimea, Kaua’i she was a van driver for Special Education children.
She is preceded in death by Genaro Tabing Lagazo, Carlos Manaday, Valentina Alejandro Manaday, Cerilo Lagazo, Heralda Tabing Lagazo, Martin Man-day, Rosalia Fontanilla, and Pacita Boro.
Valerie Ann Lagazo is survived by her mother, Solidad Manaday Lagazo of Kekaha; brothers, Calvin (Valerie) Lagazo of Waimea, Jerry Lagazo of Kaumakani, Gerard (Sylvia) Lagazo of Omao, Ronald (Wanda) Lagazo of Texas, and Genaro (Shelley) Lagazo of Lihue; along with numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family on Sunday, Oct. 30. 2016, at the Salvation Army Church in Hanapepe. Visitation will be at 8:30 a.m. with services to begin at 11 a.m.
Casual attire is suggested and flowers are welcomed.

Melicio ‘Bobo’ ‘Mel’ Nacapoy Domingcil Jr.
Melicio “Bobo” “Mel” Nacapoy Domingcil Jr. of Kapaa passed away peacefully at home on Oct. 24, 2016, at the age of 58. He was born on Jan. 25, 1958, in Waimea, Kauai, Hawaii and was a Meat Cutter with Princeville Foodland.
Preceded in death by his father, Melicio Nacapoy Domingcil Sr.
Mel is survived by his wife, Michelle Domingcil of Kapaa; five children, Heather (Jeff) Willard of New Mexico, Danielle (Bryston) Manintin of Tennessee, Kara Domingcil of Kalaheo, Matthew (Gelly Constantino) Domingcil of Puhi, Micah Domingcil of Kapaa; mother, Marlene Domingcil of Kaumakani; 7 grandchildren; brothers, Myles (Eve) Domingcil of Eleele, Mark (Teri) Domingcil of Hanapepe; numerous aunties, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of his life will be held on Thursday, Nov. 3, 2016, at Kauai Veterans Center in Lihue with visitation from 9 a.m. and services celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be held at 1:15 p.m. at Kauai Memorial Gardens.

William Sueo Sasaki
William Sueo Sasaki of Kauai, Hawaii passed away at the age of 91 on Sept. 24, 2016, at home. Born on Aug. 22, 1925, in Koloa, he was a U.S. Army veteran and a Bridge Maintenance Worker for the State of Hawai’i.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Hideko Sasaki; and son, Steve Sasaki.
William is survived by his daughters, Lori (Stanley) Valoroso of Wailua Homesteads and Robbin (Neal) Matsuyama of Wailua Houselots; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and numerous nieces, and nephews.
Private services were held.

Lorita Angala
Lorita Angala of Kaumakani passed away on Oct. 24, 2016, at home at the age of 74. Born on June 17, 1942, in Waimea, Kaua’i and was a housewife.
She is preceded in death by Arsenio Angala Sr.; mother, Frances Morales; father, Lorenzo Mendosa; and sisters, Eileen Crawford and Rose Aquino.
Lorita is survived by her husband, Frederick Viquelia; sons, Shaun (Brenda) Angala of 29 Palms, California, Arsenio (Alice) Angala Jr. of Kaumakani, and Heath (Julie) Angala of Glenwood Springs, Colorado; ten grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; sisters, Dorothy (Bill) Decker of Pearl City; and numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A Celebration of Her Life will be held on Saturday, Nov. 19, 2016, at the Garden Island Mortuary Chapel in Lawai. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. with services at 11:20 a.m.

Marcelo Guillermo Melchor
Marcelo Guillermo Melchor of Kapa’a, Hawai’i was born on Sept. 4, 1930, in Piddig, Ilocos Norte, Philippines, and passed away on Oct. 24, 2016, in Lihue, Hawai’i at the age of 86. He was a cook at Farrell’s Restaurant.
He is preceded in death by his parents Gregorio Melchor and Esperanza Melchor; and son, Pedro Pascual.
Marcelo is survived by his wife, Pacita Melchor; daughters, Elizabeth Ringor of Lihue; daughter-in-law, Ronna Pascual of Sunnyvale, California; four grandchildren; brother-in-laws, Remigio and Villanerva Ringor of Kapa’a; sister, Eugenia Pascual of Sunnyvale, California; and numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family on Monday, Nov. 7, 2016, at the Garden Island Mortuary Chapel in Lawai. Visitation will be from 8:30 to 10 a.m. with services to begin at 10 a.m. Burial will be followed at the Lihue Public Cemetery.
