LIHUE — Doors and pumps to the Lihue Chevron gas station opened Thursday at the Hokulei Shopping Village.
The Hokulei Chevron is the fifth Chevron gas station on Kauai and is open daily.
Miko Avecilla is Hokulei Chevron manager.
Located at 4454 Nuhou Street, No. 701, Hokulei Chevron features eight pumps dispensing Chevron gasoline as well as diesel. A car wash is located behind the convenience store, and a customer convenience station with water and air is positioned at the end of the parking area for convenience store patrons.
Grand opening festivities are scheduled for Saturday with a traditional Hawaiian blessing. The public is invited to enjoy the festivities with prizes, popcorn, face painting and more from 11 a.m.
