Yvonne Uilani Keoho of Hanamaulu passed away on Sept. 13, 2016, at home at the age of 64. She was born on Dec. 31,1951, in Waimea, Kauai. Yvonne worked at Wal-mart as a fabric department associate and also a people greeter where she later retired. She was a seamstress and a crafter.
She is preceded in death by her parents Joseph Punilei Manini Sr and Beverly Ann Manini, her brother Hokulani Manini and her children’s father, Albert K. Keoho Sr.
She is survived by two sons, Albert K. Keoho Jr. of California, Philbert (Sherry) Keoho of Hanamaulu and one daughter Kimberly (Joey) Camelo of Hanamaulu; three brothers Joseph P. Manini Jr., Elwood Manini, and Eben Manini;three sisters Erna Kamibayashi, Clorinda Fiso, and Bonnyjean Manini; her Aunty Lynnette ( Frank) Bukoski; six grandchildren, Joenicia, Jonessalyn and Joleisha Camelo, Shyatesa, Lance and Lynden Lagundino-Keoho.
Her services will be on Saturday Oct. 8, 2016, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Lihue. Visit with family is at 9 a.m. and services to follow at 10 a.m.
Kauai Memorial Gardens and Funeral home assisted the Keoho family.
Marjorie Joyce Nunes
Marjorie Joyce Nunes 79, of Kalaheo and Eleele, Kauai, passed away on Sept. 18, 2016, at Samuel Mahelona Hospital.
She was born on April 10, 1937, in Kauai. She was a retired bus driver from Yamaguchi bus service.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Octavia Nunes; two brothers, Robert and Timothy Nunes; and son Derek Farias.
She is survived by her son Stanley (Sherry) Farias; daughter Caprice (Alex) Sagucio; six grandchildren; three sisters, Mildred Orsatelli, Shirley Martin and Loretta Grace; six grand- children and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, Oct. 8, 2016, at Borthwick/Kauai Mortuary Chapel in Koloa from 9 to 10 a.m. Memorial services will be celebrated at 10 a.m.
Borthwick/Kauai Mortuary assisted the Pa family with arrangements.
Scott W. Robeson
Scott William Robeson of Wainiha, Hawaii, passed away peacefully at home at the age of 76 on Sept. 16, 2016. Scott graduated from the Kings Point University, New York in 1965. He joined the American President Lines, became a ship master, and retired in 1999.
In retirement he enjoyed sailing, weed-whacking along the Hanalei road, volunteering for nonprofits, and participated as a KEO mediator and as a Guardian Ad Litem for the Family Court of the Fifth Circuit.
Scott is survived by his wife, Barbara; son, Blake Alekanekelo Robeson; sister Betsy (Thorn) Robeson Collins; and three nephews and two nieces.
The family is most grateful for the support of Wilcox Memorial Hospital, Garden Isle Rehabilitation and Health Care Center, and Kauai Hospice.
Arrangements were handled by Kauai Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home.
Ezera Kai Pa
Ezera Kai Pa of Hanalei passed away on Sept. 29, 2016, at the age of 78. He was born in Hanalei on May 12, 1938, and retired from the County of Kauai.
He was preceded in death by his siblings, Sam Pa, Robert Pa, Joe Rezantes, Deary “Piilani” Pa, Lucy Kane, Richard Hooikaika, Ida Vaihola and Lei Mahuiki.
Ezera is survived by his wife, Joyce Pa; sister, Winona Aipia; brother, Eddie Hooikaika; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be held at a later date.
Kauai Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home assisted the Pa family with arrangements.
