KWDB seeks public input on workforce plan

LIHUE — The Kauai Workforce Development Board is accepting public comment on the Local Area Plan for Workforce Investment and Opportunity Act.

The plan for 2017 to 2020 aims to guide workforce development services on Kauai that support anticipated industry growth as well as employment and training opportunities over the next four years.

The draft plan can be accessed on the county website at

Printed copies are also available at the public libraries in Hanapepe, Kapaa, Lihue, Princeville and Waimea.

Comments will be accepted until Oct. 10.
