Wildlife diesease specialist to address Toxoplasmosis

PRINCEVILLE — Learn about the life cycle and biology of the parasite Toxoplasma Gondii and its effects on animals, particularly Hawaii’s native species, Oct. 12 at the Princeville Public Library.

Thierry Work, a wildlife disease specialist and project leader of the U.S. Geological Survey National Wildlife Center Honolulu Field Station, will be delivering a talk on the parasite.

The free public event is sponsored by the Friends of the North Shore Library at Princeville and is set to begin at 5 p.m.
