Randy Francisco of the county’s Office of Economic Development said we need more little places like Malia Kai Boutique on Rice Street. Janice Bond said there’s a bunch of new businesses in that City Liquor building, including a beauty salon and a Kauai escape room.
Congratulations to Mary Ann Ornellas and Jamie Kai on the new store opening that will have its grand opening, Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. with prize drawings and storewide discounts. This is a good time to place orders for Halloween costumes.
Arleen Ramos (Vicky Ramos’ sister?) was busy scraping off left-over paint and kudos to Mark Perriello and his Kauai Chamber of Commerce crew on the ribbon cutting ceremony (the scissors works!).
