Kilauea Point National Wildlife Refuge will be closed for three days in observation of Labor Day. Gates close on Saturday, and the refuge will re-open to the public on Tuesday.
The refuge is regularily open Tuesday to Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.. Entry fee is $5 per person, for adults 16 and older .
The refuge was established to preserve migratory bird nesting colonies, federally listed species, and native coastal strand, priparian and aquatic biological diversity.
