Hughes Nahuka Naumu

Hughes Nahuka Naumu, 76, passed away on Oct. 7, 2015, at his Las Vegas home.

Hughes is survived by his wife, Dorothea Bayot Naumu of Las Vegas, Nevada; daughter, Yvette Kuulei Gettner of Scotts Valley, California, son, Nathan Nalei Naumu of Las Vegas, Nevada; daughter, Nadine Haunani Naumu of Lawai; son, Troy Kaili Naumu of Las Vegas, Nevada; grandson, Daniel (Jaisa) Ikaika Cummings of Kapaa; grandson, Timothy (Tiffany) Cummings of California; great-grandson Kaleb Kainalu (Timothy) Cummings; great-granddaughter Grabrielle Grace Hilinai; grandson, Nathan Palmore of Stafford, Virginia; half-sister Arlene Edwards of Tomball, Texas; and large extended family.

He was preceded in death by his son, Hughes Nahuka “Tino” Naumu, who died in 2003 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

A celebration of life for Hughes Nahuka Naumu will be held on Friday, Aug. 5, 2016, at the Hanapepe Veterans Cemetery on Kauai. Eulogy and prayers will be at 11 a.m., followed by a full military service at 11:30 a.m.

Family suggests casual attire.

Richard ‘Ricky’ Cremer

Richard Kamaile Cremer passed away on July 10, 2016, at his home in Lihue at the age of 40.

He was preceded in death by his son, Christopher “Bradda” Cremer, and his mother, Daphne K. Cremer.

Ricky is survived by his father, Reinhold Cremer Sr.; daughters, Alyssa Cremer-Arakaki (Russelle), Aiesha Cremer-Arakaki; sons, Richard Kanoa Cremer (April), Kanen Kainalu Cremer; sisters, Doreen Gomes (Glenn), Kanani Kawamura (Kela); brothers, David Cremer (Denise), Ronnie Cremer Jr. (Elmer), Shawn Cremer (Hale); grandsons, Jaden, Takeo; granddaughter, Braelynn; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Ricky’s celebration of life and the scattering of his ashes will be held on Aug. 14, 2016, at Kalapaki Beach Park at 12:30 p.m.

Arrangements were handled by Garden Island Mortuary, Ltd.

Marlene Ito Daligdig

Marlene Ito Daligdig went home to be with Heavenly Father on June 27, 2016, at the age of 67. She was born on June 19, 1949, on Oahu.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Gerald Francis Ito Sr. and Theodore Daligdig Sr.

Marlene is survived by her children, Gerald Francis Ito Jr., Chantell Kaaihue, Raenell (Shane) Shimabukuro, Darnell Ito; seven grandchildren; Amber, Klinton, Ashtyn, Ave Evalei, Zain and Landon; sisters, Deborah Morris, Thyra Abraham, Rose Lee; brother, Danniel Tom Jr., numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, Aug. 6, 2016, at Immaculate Conception Church with visitation from 9 a.m. and Mass celebrated at 10 a.m. Inurnment will follow at Kauai Memorial Gardens.

Kauai Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.

Anne Miyoko Watase

Anne Miyoko Watase of Lihue passed away at home on July 17, 2016, at the age of 90. She was born in Japan on Dec. 20, 1925, and retired as a seamstress from Iolani Sports Wear.

She was preceded in death by Masanori Watase.

Anne is survived by her sister, Kazuko Ikemoto of Kekaha; numerous nieces and nephews.

Private services were held.

Family graciously declines koden.

Kauai Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home assisted the Watase family with arrangements.
