Ellsworth Abraham Kaohimaunu Kaleiohi
Ellsworth “Opu” Abraham Kaohimaunu Kaleiohi of Anahola passed away at home on July 4, 2016, at the age of 85. He was born in Papa’a, Kauai on Oct. 3, 1930, retired from Construction and was an avid Diver.
Preceded in death by his parents, Ephraim and Evangeline Kaleiohi; brothers, Ephraim “Moose” Kaleiohi, Samuel “Buff” Kaleiohi, Robert Kaleiohi, Philip Kaleiohi; sisters, Winifred Cummings and Evelyn Reis.
Opu is survived by his wife, Yolanda “Lani” Kaleiohi of Anahola; sons, Kevin (Kalae) Kaleiohi of Anahola, Ellsworth (Kehau) Kaleiohi of Anahola; daughter, Marisa (Lori) Kaleiohi of Anahola; eight grandchildren, Char-Lee Kaleiohi, Leoni Kaleiohi, Kaipo Kaleiohi, Saebre Kaleiohi, Ellsworth Kaleiohi, Sealei Kaleiohi, Lilia Rapozo-Kaleiohi, Kamuali’i Rapozo-Kaleiohi; one great-grandson, Alekona Iokepa Kaleiohi; brothers, Edward (Amanda) Kaleiohi of Anahola, Joseph (Marlene) Kaleiohi of Anahola, Theodore Kaleiohi of California; sisters, Evangeline Evans of Kalaheo, Phyllis Goias of Lihue, Daisy Tailfeathers of Lihue; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Family suggests casual attire.
A celebration of Opu’s life will be held on Saturday, July 16, 2016, at Anahola Beach Park beginning at 1 p.m.
Kauai Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home assisted the Kaleiohi family with arrangements.
Sage Lane
On June 28, 2016, William “Sage” Lane of Kilauea, Kauai passed away at the age of 23, doing what he loved most; fishing. Sage was born on Jan. 2, 1993, in Eureka, California before moving with his family to Kauai at the age of three where he grew up respecting his island life.
Sage lived his life loving the ocean. He enjoyed the natural world in it’s entirety; spending his time embracing the behaviors of marine life. He had unbridled passions for fishing, surfing, golfing, and Hawaiian style pig hunting. When he wasn’t among surf and sand, Sage could often be found at his home in Kilauea raising butterflies, spiders, and bees. Sage graduated from Kapaa High School and attended Kauai Community College.
Sage touched friends, family and those around him with an unwavering strength, consistent curiosity, and courageous approach to life. He loved the ocean, fishing, and sharing his extensive knowledge with anyone who would listen. Few people posses the pure sincere love of life that carried Sage through this world.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents; William G. Lane Sr. and Irene Lane.
He is survived by his parents, Jaylene Bonham-Lane and William G. Lane; brother, Cortney Lane; grandparents, Edward Bonham (OR) and Alice Crossley (CA); aunts, Sidneye Lane Henderson (GA), Joelle Lake (David) (CA); uncles, “Skip” Bonham (OR) and Edward Bonham (Kathy) (IN); cousins, Meg Henderson Keen (GA), Mary Beth Henderson (SC), Michael Lake (CA), Morgan Lake-Robinson (CA), Kristin Chownec (WI), and Katie Jahnke (WI).
There will be a Celebration of Life on July 17, 2016, at Kalihiwai Beach. We will begin gathering at 4 p.m. blow with the celebration beginning at 5 p.m.
Henry Willard Glenn
Henry Willard Glenn of Lihue passed away at home on July 7, 2016, at the age of 67. He was born in New Jersey on Oct. 21, 1948, a Vietnam Veteran and he retired as a Musician.
Henry is survived by five children, Henry Glenn of Florida, John Glenn of Florida, Henrietta Fagg of Florida, Sara Glenn of Omao, Kauai and Connie (Ben) Porter of Kipu, Kauai; nine grandchildren, one great-grandchild; brother, Billy Glenn; sister, Lynette Glass; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many beloved friends.
A celebration of his life will be held on Tuesday, July 26, 2016, at Lydgate Small Pavilion beginning at 6 p.m.

Petrus Magmay Jr.
Petrus “Junior” Magmay of Hanalei passed away at Garden Isle Health Care on July 8, 2016, at the age of 11. He was born in Lihue, Kauai on Oct. 24, 2004, and was a student at Hanalei Elementary School.
Junior is survived by his parents, Petrus and Rostina Magmay Sr. of Hanalei; sister, Magkei “Maggie” Magmay of Hanalei; numerous aunties, uncles, cousins and loving classmates.
A celebration of his life will be held on Monday, July 18, 2016, at Wai’oli Hui’ia Church in Hanalei with viewing from 2 p.m. and services with closed casket beginning at 3 p.m. Cremation to follow.
