Soccer, basketball, cheerleading, and flag football are among the activities being offered at the sports camp that starts Monday at Eleele Park.
The camp, which runs from 9 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. for youth ages 6 through 12 years old, is one of two being offered by the Crossroads Christian Fellowship and organized through Unchartered Waters Sports Ministry, a Mainland-based organization.
One camp runs daily through July 8 at the Eleele Park. A second camp will be held at the Wailua Houselots Park on July 11 through 15 from 2:30 to 6:15 p.m. This camp is available for youth ages 4 through 12 years old.
Unchartered Waters Sports Ministry has brought the camp to Kauai for several years. Kiana Pigao, a former Miss Kauai Filipina title holder, returns as one of the camp coaches.
Registration is $35 per child. Scholarships are available.
