Kelani Lewis and Josiah Delos Reyes combined for 13 points to lead the Westside Division 4 boys to a 17-8 win over Papalina White on Thursday during the summer league basketball games at the Kalaheo Neighborhood Center.
Lewis finished with eight points and Delos Reyes contributed five marks in the win. Kaina Andrade set the pace for the Papalina White effort with four points.
The two remaining games featured the Running Rebels girls’ teams who finished by splitting its series.
Lele fired up the Dream Team with 20 points as the Rebels A squad fell, 44-6, at the hands of the Eastside team. Olivia finished with 16 points.
Sophia Badua topped the Rebels A scoring with four points.
The Rebels B team redeemed the program’s opening loss by edging past Kaulupono 14-12 in the nightcap led by Skylyn Fagarang and Mackenna Tamanaha combining for 10 of the team’s total points. Fagarang finished with six points and Tamanaha added four marks.
Grace Sabo led Kaulupono with four points.
Due to the July 4th holiday, there will be no games played Monday. The next series takes place Tuesday with three games at the Kilauea Neighborhood Center and three games scheduled for the Kalaheo Neighborhood Center.
