LIHUE — University of Hawaii head football coach Nick Rolovich and his staff will host two football camps at Vidinha Stadium on June 22, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 1 to 3 p.m.
The camps will focus on both offense and defense techniques to provide participants with exposure to both sides of the game.
The first camp is free and is geared for youngsters from age 5 to those entering eighth-grade in the fall.
High school students — those who will be entering ninth- to twelfth-grades in the fall — are invited to the second session, which is a prospect camp. The cost to attend is $20.
Registration for the camps will be held at the stadium an hour before each session.
Cash, money orders or checks will be accepted for payment. Checks should be made payable to the University of Hawaii.
To expedite the registration process, participants and parents are urged to access the form online at www.kauai.gov/parks, and bring the completed form to the event.
If an ASL interpreter or auxiliary aid support is required for a youngster to participate, please contact the Department of Parks and Recreation at 241-4460 at least seven days prior to the event.
