Applications are being accepted for the sixth annual Garden Island Trollers fishing tournament on June 18.
“We invite all trollers to participate in this event which brings the community together to foster the spirit of good fellowship and unity among the fishermen of Kauai,” said Jolene Spence, sea captain.
Entry deadline is June 13.
Prize categories include: Largest Qualifying Fish, first and second places for Marlin, first and second places for Yellow Fin Tuna, first and second places for Ono, first and second places for Mahi Mahi, and Others. Prizes are restricted to just one per boat. In the event of a tie, the first fish being called in is the tie-breaker.
