Kapaa Bank of Hawaii robbed

An armed man robbed Bank of Hawaii in Kapa’a around 10:30 a.m. New Year’s Eve Thursday. The suspect fled the scene and headed northbound, according to witnesses.

According the KPD, the suspect was armed with a rifle.

The suspect is described as a 5’9″ Caucasian male, wearing a dark-colored hoodie and sunglasses.
