Alfonso Ibia Radona
Alfonso Ibia Radona, 94 years old male, of Kekaha, Kauai passed away on December 13, 2015 at Kauai Veterans Memorial Hospital. Born on October 1, 1921 in the Philippines, he was a retired tractor operator for Kekaha Sugar Plantation.
He is survived by his wife Generosa Pascual Radona, 2) Sons: Marvin (Kristi) Radona & Romeo Asuncion, 2) Daughters: Zoraida Radona & Mildred (Dustin) Richmond, 10 grandchildren & 7 great grandchildren.
Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday December 22, 2015 at Immaculate Conception Church from 8 to 9:45 a.m. where mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. There will be a burial to follow at Kauai Memorial Gardens.
The family is requesting no flowers.

Charles Niitani
Charles Susumu Niitani of Lihue passed away at Wilcox Memorial Hospital on December 10, 2015 at the age of 79. Born on November 29, 1936, in McBryde Sugar Company’s Hospital in Koloa, he was a shipping clerk with Young Brother’s, Ltd.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Yutaka and Haruko Niitani; brother, Walter (Gladys) Niitani; and sister-in-law, Hisayo Niitani.
Charley is survived by his wife, Janet Niitani; daughters, Laura (Jenkin) Estrada of Lihue, Sandi of Lihue, Amy (Victor) Guarin of Honolulu, and Jill of Lihue; one grandchild, Matthew Estrada; brothers, George Niitani of Honolulu and Edwin (Masako) Niitani of Pearl City; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Celebration of Charley’s Life will be held at the Lihue Hongwanji on Wednesday, December 23, 2015. Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. with services to follow at 5 p.m.
The family requests casual attire and is graciously declining flowers.

Ken Kenichi Miyoshi
Ken Kenichi Miyoshi of Wailua, Kauai, passed away at Wilcox Memorial Hospital on December 14, 2015 at the age of 57. He was born in Lihue, Kauai on December 28, 1957.
Retired from Hawaiian Dredging, he was an avid fisherman and an award winning crab expert. He was recently filmed by “Extreme Fishing with Robson Green” to be aired on National Geographic. He will be well remembered as the owner of Masa’s Shave Ice, who has served the community with his delicious shave ice.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Kenichi and Haruno Miyoshi.
He is survived by his wife, Joy; son, Kelsey of Seattle, WA; daughter, Kori of Wailua, Kauai; parents, Kenneth and Mae Miyoshi of Honolulu, Oahu; brother, Lon Miyoshi of Honolulu, Oahu; mother-in-law, Hazel Yanagida of Kapaa, Kauai; sister-in-law Linda (Mark) Naea of Kula, Maui; beloved dog; Molly; friend and business partner, Calvin Fukushima of Lihue, Kauai; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, December 19, 2015 at Lihue Hongwanji Mission; service officiated by Rev. Takashi. Visitation will be at 10 a.m. and service to follow at 11 a.m. Scattering to follow.

Toshio Okiura
Toshio Okiura passed away on O’ahu at the age of 95 on November 19, 2015. Born on January 20, 1920 on Kaua’i, he was an irrigation supervisor with McBryde Sugar Plantation.
He is survived by his wife, Yoshiko Okiura; daughters, Evie Horimoto of Mililani and Stacie Matias of Lawai; two grandchildren, Sherrice (Jack) Munechika and Mark (Kristen) Horimoto; three great-grandchildren, Taytelyn Munechika, Taylee Munechika and Parker Horimoto; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Toshio’s Life will be held at the Garden Island Mortuary Chapel in Lawai on Saturday, December 19, 2015. Visitation will begin at 3 p.m. with services at 4 p.m.
The family suggests causal attire.
