Veronica Ancheta ‘Taling’ Tolentino
Veronica Ancheta “Taling” Tolentino of Waipahu, Oahu, passed away on Oct. 2, 2015, at the age of 84. She was born in Makaweli, Kauai on June 3, 1931.
Veronica was preceded in death by her parents, Roberto Yasay Ancheta and Casamira Lumabao Ancheta, husband, Adriano Tolentino and son, Vernon Tolentino.
Veronica is survived by her sister, Consuelo Yamane; sons, Adrian Tolentino, Robert (Sylvia) Tolentino, Ben (Davelynn) Tolentino; daughters, Linda Sue (Jose) Morillo, Roxane (Donn) Howard; 12 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Veronica was formerly employed as a Clerk Stenographer at Pearl Harbor. She was a member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses Waipio branch.
Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, Dec. 5, 2015, with visitation 9 a.m., service 10:15 a.m., burial 11:30 a.m., at Mililani Memorial Park, Mauka Chapel, Mililani, Oahu.
Gliceria D. Dumbrique
Gliceria D. Dumbrique passed away on Nov. 5, 2015, with her family beside her at Garden Island Healthcare. She was born on May 10, 1914, in Laoag City, Philippines and was 101 years old. She was a housewife.
Gliceria is preceded in death by her parents, Ciriaco and Arcadia Domingo, husband of 67 years, Vicente Dumbrique and son, Ernesto Dumbrique.
She is survived by son Aurelio (Josie) Dumbrique of Lihue; daughters, Naty (John) Lorenzo of Koloa, Tessie (Steve) Hyde of Lihue, Liza (Ernie) Gabriel of California, and Dolly (Boyd) Schneider of Mililani; eight grandchildren, Gilburn (Tish) Lorenzo, Rachelle (Craig) Lorenzo, Aimee (Paka) Lorenzo, Vincent (Candice) Dumbrique, Denevin Dumbrique, Warren Gabriel, Christian Schneider and Justin Schneider; great-grandchildren, Maguire Lorenzo, Kolten Fujimoto, Rylie Fujimoto, and Xander Dumbrique; step great-grandchildren Cyrus and Chloe Fujimoto.
Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, Dec. 5, 2015, at the Immaculate Consumption Church in Lihue. Visitation will begin at 8 a.m. with Mass at 10 a.m. Burial will be followed at Kauai Memorial Gardens.

Betty Lee Sebert
Betty Lee Sebert of Kapaa passed away at home surrounded by family on Nov. 25, 2015, at the age of 93. She was born in Ohio on May 4, 1922, and was a dedicated homemaker.
Betty is survived by one daughter, Linda (Mike) Lopez of Kapaa; one son, Denis (Dana) Sebert of Oregon; six grandchildren, Kendall Lopez of Oahu, Mikey (Carol) Lopez of Kapaa, Corie (Kai) Jack of Oahu, Kelli (Nick) LoCicero of Kapaa, Allison (Landen) Bacon of New York, Keelie Council of California and six great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, Dec. 5, 2015, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Kapaa beginning at 2 p.m.
Kauai Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
Grace Padilla
Grace Padilla passed away at Kauai Veterans Memorial Hospital on Nov. 14, 2015, at the age of 50. Born on April 8, 1965, in Waimea, Kauai she was an assistant office manager with Garden Island Mortuary.
She is survived by her partner jesse Trevino of Mission Texas; brothers, Eustaquio (Noreen) Padilla Jr. of Kaimuki, Honolulu and Joseph (Vivian) Padilla of Mililani, Honolulu; hanai brothers, Gil Aguilar of Honolulu, Oahu, Michael (Julie) Broyles of Hanapepe and Tim (Jan) DeLa Vega of Hanapepe; sisters, Aida Padilla-Cruz of Lihue, Gloria (Raymond) Padilla-Ramirez of Ewa Beach, Honolulu and Becky Padilla-Komaki of Hanapepe; hanai sisters, Lilian (Lee) Henricksen of Kekaha, Yvette (Roland) Cadawas of Hanamaulu and Debra Ventura of Omao; numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
She is also preceded in death by her parents, Eustaquio B. Padilla Sr. and Pauline F. Padilla and brother-in-law, Frank Cruz Sr.
A Celebration of Grace’s Life will be held on Saturday, Dec. 5, 2015, at the West Kauai United Methodist Church in Kekaha. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. with services at 10 a.m.
The family requests casual attire and flowers are welcome.
