At least 20 baseball and softball players playing collegiate baseball and softball players are expected to lead the 5th Garden Island Baseball and Softball Clinic Showcase on Dec. 20 at the Hanapepe Ball Park.
Sponsored by the County of Kauai, the clinic will run from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. for players ages 7 through 14 years old, and from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. for high school players. The Junior College Showcase will also take place during this time.
Participants will receive an event T-shirt and a meal.
Registration is $15 before Dec. 5 and $25 after, with a portion of the proceeds being donated to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Hawaii.

Participating colleges include the Hawaii Pacific University, the University of Hawaii-Hilo, Feather River Junior College, and San Jose State University.
Players, all formerly Kauai Interscholastic Federation standouts for their respective schools, scheduled to help lead the clinic include Bronson Aiwohi, Byron Freitas, Nick Tabura, DJ Lacaden, Mikey Rita, Theron Shigematsu, AJ Cummings, Ulu Matagiese, Keana Hogan, Deanna Tafiti, Turtle Kuhaulua, Brock Ephan, Cal Koga, Bryton Lumabao, Justin Silva, Sienna Santiago, Karlyee Malapit, Keoki Planas, and Bailey San Agustine-Nordmeier.
