Robert Martin Rego
Robert Martin Rego of Hanamaulu passed away at home on Nov. 13, 2015, at the age of 88. He was born in Hanamaulu on May 25, 1927, and retired from the County of Kauai as the District Road Overseer.
Preceded in death by his daughter, Caroline Rego; parents, Manuel and Maui Rego; siblings, Rose Nobriga, John Rego, Helen Matsushima, Manuel Rego Jr., Martin Rego, Joseph Rego, Olivia Rego, Alice Thompson, Rosaline “Kaimi” Matsushima.
Robert is survived by his wife, Frances Carvalho Rego; son, Lawrence (Barbara) Rego; daughter, Marie (Stan) Yadao; 13 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, 15 great-great grandchildren; sister, Margaret Po and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of his life will be held on Friday, Nov. 20, 2015, at Immaculate Conception Church with viewing from 8 a.m. and Mass celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Kauai Memorial Gardens.

Anna Seidel
Anna Karena Seidel born March 28, 1979, in Waimea, Kauai, passed away at the age of 36 on Sept. 9, 2015, in Manhattan, New York where she was a massage therapist.
Anna was preceded in death by her father, Marshall Elliot Sommerdorf. She is survived by her mother, Emily Seidel of Kalaheo; sister, Amy (Les) Nagashima of Wailua; brothers, Marshall Sommerdorf Jr., William (Kim) Sommerdorf and nieces, Kayla and Nicole Summerdorf of North Carolina, as well as other relatives and dear friends.
She was a compassionate, loving and humorous soul and will be dearly missed. A private celebration was held in her honor.
Kenzo Rayve Ganir
Kenzo Rayve Ganir born to Ryan and Kristine Ganir passed away on Nov. 10, 2015.
Preceded in death by his grandfather, Saturnino Ganir.
Kenzo is survived by his parents, Ryan and Kristine Ganir; brother, Khian Redd Ganir; maternal grandparents, Jefferson and Rebecca Ramel; paternal grandmother, Anita Ganir; numerous aunties, uncles and cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Nov. 21, 2015, at Immaculate Conception Church with visitation from 9 a.m. and Mass celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Kalapaki Bay Memorial Park.

Edith Morifuji
Edith “Toko” Setsuko Morifuji of Pearl City, Hawaii passed away at the age of 79 on Nov. 12, 2015, in Honolulu, Hawaii. Born on Jan. 1, 1936, in Lihue, Kauai she was a retired Claims Adjuster with Liberty Mutual Insurance.
Edith is survived by her husband, Kenneth “Ken” K. Moriguji; sons, Marc K. Morifuji and Scott S. Morifuji; daughter, Kathy K. Matsumoto and seven grandchildren.
Friends may visit with the family on Friday, Dec. 11, 2015, 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Diamond Head Mortuary. Service will begin at 10:30 a.m.
