The price of freedom is never cheap, and kudos to Lori Miller, Jeffrey Pears, Jim Jung, Gen. Mary Kay Hertog (she said if John Iwamoto and Soupbone Kashiwabara can walk the Veterans Day parade, so can she), and Stu Burley
The price of freedom is never cheap, and kudos to Lori Miller, Jeffrey Pears, Jim Jung, Gen. Mary Kay Hertog (she said if John Iwamoto and Soupbone Kashiwabara can walk the Veterans Day parade, so can she), and Stu Burley on their campaign of pinning and thanking veterans in honor of Veterans Day.
Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard is the keynote speaker at today’s Veterans Day service which starts at 11 a.m. (11th month, 11th hour) at the Hanapepe Veterans Cemetery, and Jeffrey said they’ll be doing the pinning of veterans at the Kauai Veterans Memorial Hospital following the service.
Kudos to Maj. Victor Aguilar and the Waimea High School Junior ROTC cadets who volunteered to spruce up the pavilion for today’s service (Andrea Abalos will be there along with all the Boy Scouts, and hopefully, Girl Scouts).
Shana Andres will be busy with the Marriott Kauai Beach Resort and Beach Club doing their Any Soldier Care Package program for active duty armed forces people.
Happy Veterans Day to all! Be safe.
