Kauai Independent Daycare Service, or K.I.D.S School, is hosting its annual fundraiser from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Oct. 17 at the school, 1346 Inia Street in Kapaa.
The event includes a tag sale, a silent auction, music, entertainment and a bake sale. Vendor tables will be set up inside and there will be items for sale from local businesses, hotels, and restaurants, as well as handmade items.
Hot ono food, such as laulau and plate lunches, will be available on the lanai and there will be games, crafts and face painting in the backyard.
Out front, there will be rides and inflatables and shave ice.
Also included in the event is an estate sale on behalf of Maureen Morrison, who donated to the school every year and was a strong believer in providing education to future leaders.
Her final wishes were to leave K.I.D.S with contributions to help enrich and provide for keiki at the nonprofit preschool.
Included in the estate sale will be household items, furniture, and a car.
