Happy Camper for Sept. 20, 2015

Congratulations to Lesah Merritt and all those Safeway people on the opening of the Hokulei Village store!

Ron Kosen was going crazy (Jill Kosen even got to do some shopping before going off to work) with all those grand opening festivities, and a lot of little guys had doughnuts (with sprinkles) and milk for breakfast Friday. Edwin Vea said they were in line at 4:15 a.m. so they could be first in the store.

Bob Bartolo (what’s cooking at the Coconut Festival?) said his company was doing all the cleaning while the Safeway guys were setting up (Barbara said they were staying at the Courtyard, too).

Happy birthday to Candace Boxer (what? no special Ono Pop flavor to celebrate?) who was setting up for the weekly Friday Night Art Walk in Hanapepe! Greg Askew said they’ve got the pow wow this coming weekend before the Coconut Festival (Annette Van Story said they’ve got something special coming up at the Courtyard by Marriott at Coconut Beach to celebrate that event).
